Proven blog niches that make money easily

You can make money blogging.

You just need to put in the effort.

But what should you blog about?

What are the blog niches that make money quickly?

Blog niches that make money even if you are a beginner

Whether you’ve been blogging for centuries or just picked up a pen and paper yesterday. You can make money blogging with these simple to get into niches.

The following are niches you should put into consideration when you start a blog:

  • Health and fitness
  • Wealth
  • Fashion
  • Marketing
  • Technology
  • Gaming
  • Travel

Health and fitness

Let’s start with the big one. Everyone wants to be healthy. No one wants to be sick and be stuck in bed.

Health and fitness is an evergreen market. Someone, somewhere, will always want to look good naked, be healthy, and stay wholesome.

Obesity is a prevalent problem worldwide, and it’s only growing. We all want to lose weight, we all know how, yet obesity is still one of the leading causes of death globally.

This is why the health and fitness industry is still booming.

There’s no doubt that there are stiff competitions in this market. I’m not going to lie, yes, it’s not a blue ocean.

However, you shouldn’t shy away from the challenge. Health and fitness is a billion-dollar industry, and it’s only increasing.

What if you can take just 1% of the pie?

There are plenty of ways you can make money with a health and fitness site.

But, you should realize that this is not a get rich quick scheme. You will be writing about health and fitness for at least three years consistently.

Yes, three years. A long time isn’t it?

You can do it in less than that, but I want to set your expectations right.

I just want you to succeed by not quitting after a few months. It takes time and effort to make money online.

There are many things you can write about in the health and fitness space. It’s hard to cover all of them. Start with one topic, for now. You can eventually go broader and write about health and fitness related stuff later.

But, for now, focus on one subtopic.

Health and fitness topics you should consider are:

  • The ketogenic diet
  • Paleo diet
  • Health food
  • Home workouts
  • Carnivore diet

There are plenty of things you can write about.

When you come up with your subtopic, you should go to Google trends and see how it is trending through the years.

I always like to watch the five years timeline to judge how well a niche performs. Monitoring trends in five years should be enough to give you an idea.

When the line is on a decline, you should stay away. And pursue the one that is going up or staying the same.

Wealth

People like you, like me, want to make money. Hey, I’m not going to lie, I want to make money by doing what I love. And that is health and fitness.

Others love what they do and make a significant amount of money. Money is just a by-product of their happiness.

And others are motivated by money.

Health and fitness are what I love, and I do it for my wellness while helping others at the same time.

This blog is all about giving back. I want you to be unemployed and doing what you love.

Look, blogging can work for anyone. For big businesses, small mom and pop shops, or individuals who want to quit the daily grind.

The following is what you can write about when it comes to wealth:

  • Make money online
  • How to save
  • Frugal living
  • Investing
  • Bitcoin
  • Paying off debt

If you are familiar with these topics, you should start your wealth blog, especially if you’re an accountant, banker, or financial manager. These will give you an authority in the space.

However, you don’t have to have a business degree to start a wealth blog. Just don’t write about things you have no idea about.

Fashion

I’m the last guy you should go to for fashion advice. Most of the time, I just want to be comfortable.

I do have a sense of things being out of fashion, but I’m not passionate about it.

I don’t love fashion as much as somebody who would go shopping for hours to find the right bracelet to pair with their jacket.

But, again, if you have the passion for it, do it. Passion for fashion?

Things to write about?

  • Man bracelets
  • Totes
  • Shoulder bags
  • Shoes
  • Cosplay

There are many things you can write about fashion. Being a fashion brand, you should consider being social.

Fashion brands do exceptionally well within the social network, especially Instagram. If you have younger demographics, Tik Tok still has an excellent organic reach at the time of this writing.

Make a video of you strutting your products on the street. Create an unboxing video or educate your audience on what goes with what.

You can make money by referring your audience to buy from a store and get a commission, just like Amazon.

There are other stores than Amazon that offer a better commission rate. You can find out by asking your favorite shop. You can always use Google if you’re stuck.

Google something like “fashion affiliate programs,” and you’ll get blogs like this that will go over the top-ranking fashion affiliate programs.

Unless a meteor wipes us out or go back to the caveman ages, fashion will never die. Even when we go back to the caveman ages, who’s to say that we don’t want to look good in our fur clothes? Banana leaf undies?

A better way to make more money with fashion is by selling your products. You get to keep all the profits, but it is a little risky because you have to put up the capital.

I suggest to start with affiliate marketing then move on to create your brand. I don’t’ recommend ads, but you can use ads to make money with a fashion blog.

Marketing

The way things Google is going now, you can’t just write a blog these days and be a success.

Marketing is a very lucrative market. Big businesses rely on software to automate redundant activities, keep in touch with customers, and sell their products or services.

And, once they are reliant on the system, they will be renewing every month. That means recurring revenue for you every month.

You have to learn about marketing to get your products and services in front of people.

You can make money in marketing by offering your service or referring others to use marketing software like Hubspot.com.

Hubspot offers a generous $1000 commission for any sale of their products.

Blogging about marketing can incur generous commissions, but, and it’s a big but.

You are competing with other marketers—people who know the same or more than you.

People like Neil Patel, Marketing agencies, Hubspot, yes, Hubspot writes about marketing too.

As I said, don’t be afraid of the competition. As long as you love it, you can rock it.

Technology

Technology is an ever-changing market. We are talking about the latest iPhone, Android, watches, cameras, and a whole slew of tech things.

A new product is always coming out, better, faster, and different. That means you have to update your posts for any changes or write new ones.

The great thing about this niche is that products can be expensive. The best way you can leverage this market is by referring high ticket items to your audience.

Many technology brands offer generous commissions on their high ticket products.

Refer your audiences to products that are worth more than $1k for a better commission. That’s $70 a sale for a $1000 Nikon camera if you use Nikon’s affiliate program. Amazon affiliate commission rate for technologies has drastically declined to as low as 2%.

The better way to make money referring techs to your audience is going to your favorite tech brand and ask for their affiliate program.

Gaming

Ahh, gaming. I remember staying up late at night slaying monsters in Dungeons and Dragons. Then I moved on to playing MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena).

An example of a MOBA is the popular League Of Legends. I used to play LOL with my friends until the wee hours of the morning. It wasn’t a healthy lifestyle.

Now, at 40, my passion has changed. I.’m more about looking after my health, eating all the bland food like salads and stuff. Why, you ask? You’ll know when you get older. My body is not as forgiving as it was when I was in my 20’s.

There are many gamers these days. More so than 20 years ago. The advancement of technology made sure of that.

You’ll see fewer kids out. Why would they go out when they have iPads, Playstations, Xbox to play within the comfort of their own home?

The growth of demand for technology means that there are plenty of opportunities.

Your audiences will be more internet savvy compared to other audiences. Don’t BS your gaming blog.

Just like with anything else, you should be honest, transparent, and take accountability for your actions.

If you’re wrong, acknowledge it. Your readers will love you more when you are the bigger person.

Travel

Travel blog in this pandemic times? Yes!

Travel is not just about flying a thousand miles to a destination. You can drive to your local water park, and you can write about your travels.

Went to the cinemas and found an excellent place to eat? Why don’t you write about your experience eating out and watching the cinemas?

You can still refer people to a place where they can eat good food, where to stay, and the best things to do.

You can write about the following:

  • How to save during your travels
  • Backpacking
  • Where to eat
  • What to do
  • Traveling with kids
  • Solo female traveler
  • Sole male traveler
  • Travel deals

Conclusion

Blogging can take months to years for you to earn money. Some people can do it in less time.

Running a blog is a business. And your chance of success is greater when you run it as such.

It’s a business, but you also have to love what you do. You need to find that balance.

That’s why bloggers fail. They start to blog about what they love, and six months to 1 year down the line, they just can’t be bothered anymore.

Blogging is both your passion and business. Combine them to create a blog that will change your life for a better one.
