Blog like you mean it! Or die trying. (True Story)

Strut your stuff like you mean it.

Fight like you mean it.

But, most of all.

Blog like you mean it.

Blog like you mean it and make money

blog like you mean it

Blogging is not easy money.

It’s not something you take up for 6 months and expect to make millions, if any at all.

No, blogging is monotonous and can take a long time to see the fruits of your labor.

What’s a long time?

Without spending a dime on ads, or social media effort, you can start seeing a trickle of traffic pouring into your blog after 6 to 12 months.

And, if you monetize small traffic with ads, you won’t earn much. Maybe $5 a month with ads?

Blog like you mean it and die trying

Have you visited the gym and heard those gym rats pushing weights like their lives depend on it?

Well, that’s a great analogy when it comes to blogging.

What if your blog determines whether you live or die?

Will you be willing to put in more than 40 hours of blogging each week?

I bet you will.

What if I tell you that there are people making millions with blogs?

Don’t believe me? Click on the following link and see for yourself: Can blogs be profitable?

You can definitely replicate what they’ve done.

Even if you don’t earn millions with your blog, how about quitting your nine to five drag and make money blogging about the things you love?

If I lived minimally, move back in at my mum’s house. I only need to pay for food, petrol, car insurance, and phone bills, etc., I’ll only need $300 a week.

That would be $1,200 a month and $14,400 a year, even less if I didn’t have a car.

Well, I can’t do that anymore as I have a family now.

I thought about it, would I be able to live minimally to pursue blogging?

Blogging, Sacrifices, and Happiness

My partner is a person who doesn’t understand entrepreneurship or that making money online is legit.

We often fight about me staying up late at night writing. I’m always the person that is trying to keep my family together.

There was a time when I was, pushed to the edge, and she wanted to separate.

I couldn’t take it. I was almost there; I was practically out. But, she changed her mind.

So, I had to get a job to pay for her mortgage and, at the same time, paying for mine.

My blog at the time would have covered all my living and business expenses without getting a job.

I would have been able to continue working on my blogging business full time, but instead, I had to get a job I hated to pay for a second mortgage that’s not even mine.

I know that if you want it badly enough, you have to make sacrifices. But, keep this in mind.

Happiness comes first before anything.

Seeing my kids every day means more to me than being a multi-billionaire or a full-time blogger.

I don’t want to cry in my Ferrari or work at home without the constant calling of “DAD!”

I want to smile in my Mitsubishi, earning mediocre amount, and seeing my kids grow.

I’m not going to lie. Money gives you the freedom to do the things you love.

However, what’s money when you’re miserable?

What’s money if you want to jump into a black hole?

Put happiness first.

Conclusion

Blogging is not easy.

If it were that simple to make money with blogging, everyone would be a gazillionaire by now.

But it’s been done and replicable.

There are people making millions or thousands with blogging.

People who did the work for years and sacrificed a lot to get to where they are today.

They didn’t start blogging only to give up down the road.

No, they blogged like they meant it.

That’s my take.
